The Elizarov Dance Theatre was established in 1999 in Sevastopol, Ukraine, by Mr. Vadim Elizarov, who is the choreographer, and also Director of the company. Mr. Elizarov is a well-respected and acknowledged coach, teacher and organizer in Ukraine and Europe. He is an international adjudicator and also judging in the Ukrainian version of "Dancing with the Stars" on the Ukrainian National Television.

The history of the Dance Theatre dates back to the Dancing Sport Club Viktoriya, some 30 years ago. This Club became the basis for the Elizarov Dance Theatre. It was the first ballroom-specific dance theatre in the world, and has become widely known - not only in Ukraine but also throughout Europe - as the trademark of Sevastopol. All seventeen couples performing in the show are professional ballroom dancers, including a number of Ukrainian champions, and champions of Russia.

The Elizarov Dance Theatre and its predecessor from the old days have created many different brilliant and unforgettable performances, among them: "Carmen", "The love story", "Elite", "Argentine Tango", "Exhibition", "Notre Dame de Paris", "Pygmalion" and "Fuete". Special performances for children include: "Nutcracker", "Cinderella" and "The New Year's Field of Miracles".
